Staying Busy

Funny how it’s so hard to keep track of what day it is. It isn’t as though my schedule has changed. It’s the same as it always has been. You know, my commute to work is all the way from my bedroom to my office on the other side of the house, yet these days, I’m never quite sure if it’s Monday or Friday.

The good news is that I’m making progress on the book. Just went past 250 pages which means only about 50-75 more till the end. I’ve really been enjoying getting to know these characters and I hope you will too when the draft is all finished and polished up.

Today is going to be busier than usual. I’ve already been up and gone to the grocery store during the senior hours, come back, put everything and still had time to type in another nine pages. Now I’m heading to the other room and do my morning half mile on the treadmill. A little early, since I have a dental appointment this afternoon. Wow, such a busy girl.

Yesterday I took Miss Kitty for her annual rabies shot. She was not a happy camper. She yowled all the way over, and pouted all the way back. She did get over it by supper time. Nothing like a half can of Friskies to make a cat forgive you.

Anyway, after being locked in for so long, life seems to be returning closer to normal. I’m still mostly staying home, but I’m getting out to do things I need to do.

I still miss going to the movies, though.
