I almost had a disaster, but somehow managed to save myself. I had one of these situations where suddenly the text on the page turned to gibberish and I couldn’t recover what I had done, all 113 pages. Yikes. However, after fiddling a little bit, I found where the file had saved itself a few minutes short of when the disaster happened, so I was able to recover most of what I’d done. I have no idea what happened, but I have always made a point of saving to both hard drive and flash drive. Whew!
Time to quit for the day and recover from my near loss.
