What day is today? I think it may be Tuesday, but I’m not altogether sure. I had to look at the calendar. There’s something about not having to go to work that throws me off, and then there’s this middle of the week holiday for the second week in a row. I’ve enjoyed the holiday season. I love the lights, I love baking the cookies, and I love having the time to read and relax more than usual. At the same time, I’m ready to get back into my normal routine.
It isn’t as though I haven’t gotten anything constructive done. I have. I’ve been working on the outline for the next book. I’ve also been Googling some facts I need for that same book. And the best news is that I’ve actually written a few pages of the next book. I love it when I get the chance to actually tell my story.
So, here’s to the new year. I hope you all will be healthy and happy and prosperous. I’m so ready to get back into my normal routine.
