Sigh. I have a cell phone problem. Those of you who know me well know that I’d be perfectly happy not to have one. I have a landline that has an extension in every room. However, once about ten years ago, I made the mistake of asking my husband if I could use his cell phone because i was driving to Atlanta for the Moonlight and Magnolias Writer’s Conference and it would be nice to have one in case i have car trouble. Well, he said I couldn’t have his, but by the time I got back from that trip, I had a cell phone of my own. That I don’t particularly care to use. Except when I’m traveling. In case I get a flat tire.
So now I have a cell phone that is harder to use than my computer. At least, I’m familiar with that.
I had it with me this past weekend because I was driving out of town. To make a long story short, I let the battery die because I left it in my purse till this morning, and when I tried to recharge it, it wouldn’t charge.
So now I have to go to the Apple store and speak to a Geek. Of course, they never speak the same English language that I grew of speaking, so who knows what will happen?
Wish me luck.
