I’ve been busy, busy, busy trying to finish Bobby’s and Jack’s story. I had intended it to be a novella ready to be released around Valentine’s Day. Well, my characters had other ideas.
Bobby has been very stubborn, still mourning her late husband, though it has been almost three years since his death, and Jack is getting tired of being patient. Getting into the mix is Bobby’s teen-aged daughter Audrey who is having major boy problems of her own. (And this has suggested another story to be written sometime in the future.) So, my novella is destined to be a full-length novel.
Those of you who don’t have people living in your head clamoring to get out probably don’t get that this is both a blessing and a curse. However, I’d rather have this blessing than not have any ideas at all.
I’ve been trying to keep my nose to the grindstone and write every day, and I am making progress, but not as much as I would like. I think it has something to do with the dreary, cloudy weather this time of year.
One little piece of good news, a little late, but nice anyway. My Christmas book [Home for the Holidays] got a nice 4 star review from InD’Tale magazine. So maybe that will bump my sales stats. A woman can hope.
LOTS OF NEWS to write about today.
First: Educating Blaine is live on Amazon for both e-book and print purchases.
Second: I just got a 4 star review from In D’Tale Magazine for Out of her Comfort Zone. Of course, OOHCZ is still available in both formats.
Third: This one kinda blows my mind, Priceless Marriage, a book originally published by Harlequin American in 2003 has been republished in the German edition of Bianca. Imagine my surprise when I opened the unexpected package containing three German copies. [Picture shown of American version.]
